Strategy Inc. Raises $21 Billion in 2025 to Fuel Bitcoin Accumulation
Strategy Inc., the publicly traded firm led by Michael Saylor, has successfully raised $21 billion from capital markets so far in 2025. This impressive fundraising nearly matches the $22.6 billion the company secured throughout all of 2024, signaling accelerated access to capital and strong investor confidence in its corporate direction.
A Multi-Faceted Fundraising Approach
The capital was sourced through a diverse mix of financial instruments, demonstrating the company’s ability to adapt to market conditions. The fundraising includes $11.9 billion from common equity, $6.9 billion from preferred equity, and an additional $2 billion through convertible debt. These funds were generated across seven different security issuances, with individual raises ranging from $710 million to $2.68 billion.
Bolstering an Unmatched Bitcoin Treasury
This aggressive capital strategy directly supports the company’s primary mission: expanding its massive Bitcoin treasury. Strategy Inc. remains the world’s largest corporate holder of Bitcoin by a significant margin, with its balance sheet holding 649,870 BTC. Valued at over $56 billion, this stake represents more than 3% of Bitcoin’s maximum supply of 21 million coins.
The sustained influx of institutional capital underscores broad market support for the company’s thesis that Bitcoin can serve as a primary reserve asset and a key driver of corporate growth.
