Solana Gaming has launched the first season of its Game Pass with significant upgrades designed to attract a wider audience. The most notable change is the removal of the previous NFT pass requirement, allowing anyone to participate directly through the Galxe platform. To further boost engagement, the prize pool for the season has been increased to $40,000 from the previous $10,000.

How to Participate and Earn Rewards

Players can now join Season 1 by visiting the Solana Gaming page on Galxe and completing a variety of tasks. These quests range from social media actions, like following specific accounts on X, to completing in-game missions. Each completed task awards points, which translate into entries for a raffle held at the end of the season.

Community interaction is also a key component of the experience. By joining the official Discord server, players can find information on multipliers and set their gaming preferences to customize their participation. This central hub keeps participants updated on the latest quests, featured games, and community events.

A Season of Dynamic Gaming Content

The season is structured around a continuous stream of weekly content to keep the platform engaging. Each week introduces new quests and spotlights different games from a roster of over 30 titles supported by Solana. The schedule includes one to two weekly competitions and several in-game challenges that give skilled players more chances to win.

To supplement the gameplay, Solana Gaming is hosting live streaming sessions on the X platform. These events feature additional giveaways, including USDC and NFTs, to further reward the community.

Week 1 Game Highlights

The inaugural week of Season 1 featured five titles, showcasing the diversity of the Solana gaming ecosystem:

  • Star Atlas: A sprawling multiplayer online game set in a futuristic universe of conflict between humans, aliens, and androids.
  • PrimeSkill: A player-versus-player platform where skill is the primary factor for success, featuring its new title, FrontStrike.
  • Cross The Ages: An experience that combines a strategic card game with an action RPG, blending in-game earnings with real-time combat.
  • Pikamoon Game: An immersive open-world adventure focused on taming creatures and competing in battles.
  • Octo Gaming: A mobile application that connects casual gaming with a system that rewards players with both digital and physical items.

Star Atlas led the season’s first major competition, which ran from October 24 to 27. The event featured racing and gunplay matches with a $1,000 prize pool distributed among the top ten players. The project is also running a parallel six-month campaign called ‘Iris’ Blessing,’ offering additional rewards and double XP opportunities that complement the Game Pass.
