Responding to Institutional Demand

After two sold-out events, the Digital Assets Forum (DAF) is expanding to a two-day conference in London to meet the growing demand from the financial sector. Organized by the European Blockchain Convention (EBC), the third edition of the forum will take place in the city’s financial district, aiming to unite leaders from traditional finance and the digital asset industry.

The expansion reflects the accelerating institutional adoption of crypto and London’s key role as a European hub for capital markets. The event is expected to draw major figures from asset management, family offices, banks, and hedge funds, which together represent over €3 trillion in Assets under Management (AuM). According to EBC co-founder Victoria Gago, the two-day format provides the necessary time for institutions and crypto leaders to forge meaningful partnerships and address key industry developments.

The Tokenization Frontier

The conference arrives as tokenization emerges as a significant trend in finance. Co-founder Daniel Salmerón noted that the industry is moving toward an era where nearly every asset, from funds to real estate, can exist on-chain. The forum is positioned as the meeting point for defining how this transition will unfold securely and at scale.

This industry shift is supported by analyst forecasts predicting the market for tokenized assets could exceed $16 trillion by 2030. The DAF agenda will cover a wide range of critical topics beyond tokenization and Decentralized Finance (DeFi), including market structure, custody solutions, the role of AI in finance, stablecoins, and regulatory compliance.

The event will feature a diverse lineup of speakers from across the financial spectrum. Notable participants include Christopher Perkins, President of CoinFund; Emma Lovett, Executive Director at J.P. Morgan; Stani Kulechov, Founder and CEO of Aave Labs; and Bilal Jafar, the Digital Assets Lead at Dow Jones. Their presence underscores the forum’s goal of fostering strategic dialogue between established financial players and crypto-native innovators.
