Clanker to Overhaul Fee Structure, Giving Creators Control of Token Burns
The team behind the Clanker (CLANKER) project has announced a significant shift in its on-platform transaction fee policy, scheduled to take effect on November 13, 2025. The update will permanently transfer control over all collected fees to the platform’s content creators.
Following the change, creators will be able to either claim the fees generated by their content or burn the tokens. Burning the tokens permanently removes them from the circulating supply, a common mechanism for creating deflationary pressure on a cryptocurrency’s value.
According to the announcement, this new model is designed to provide communities with greater flexibility in managing their economic growth. By allowing creators to make decisions about fee distribution, the project aims to empower them to tailor their own incentive structures.
