The situation highlights a significant local governance challenge, as Tran confirmed that Bourbon County currently lacks any zoning or sound ordinances to regulate the facility’s operations. An attorney for the county has been in contact with Evolution Tech’s legal team to navigate the issue.

The responsibility for recommending a solution is expected to fall to the county’s Planning and Zoning Board. At present, there is no established timeline for when these discussions will occur or when an Evolution Tech representative might attend a future commissioners’ meeting.
